Today in a ‘Most Memorable Couples’ segment on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Fran Drescher and her ex-husband, Peter Marc Jacobson will talk about their unique relationship that inspired the new sitcom pilot on TVLAND called Happily Divorced. The show is based on Drescher’s real life, and centers around how she deals with dating after finding out her husband (Jacobson) is gay, and how she juggles her relationship with her current boyfriend and ex-husband post-divorce.

Drescher and Jacobson, who were high school sweethearts, remain best friends, and have been actively involved in Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer Foundation. Drescher, a uterine cancer survivor, started the Cancer Schmancer Foundation to transform women from patients into medical consumers, and promote early detection of cancer. Drescher spoke in detail with Winfrey about her diagnosis in 2009, and again touches on her experience today. Semprae is proud to have contributed to the Cancer Schmancer Foundation as well as be a resource for cancer survivors, many of whom describe the Zestra experience as a “reawakening” in their sex lives.
