Daytime soap opera diva Jacklyn Zeman, beloved for her long-standing portrayal of Nurse Bobbie Spencer on ABC’s highly rated “General Hospital,” now has a new role as the national spokesperson for Zestra® Essential Arousal Oils™.  Co-founders Mary Wallace Jaensch and Rachel Braun Scherl announced today that the popular celebrity and former playboy bunny will be featured in all media and promotional activity for Zestra, the first clinically proven OTC sexual enhancement product for women.  Ms. Zeman will appear in Zestra’s new TV, radio, print and online advertising.

As the star in the new Zestra commercials, Jackie will be sharing her prescription to help women have more sex and enjoy it more fully.   The spot, to be taped in Dallas, will be aired in late Fall in leading U.S. markets. Hosting a symposium on the SECOND ACTS:  GETTING OLDER, LOOKING YOUNGER, the fifty-plus beauty will be featured at “Beauty Bash”, a two day event at NYC’s Metropolitan Pavilion sponsored by FabOverFifty, a premiere online destination for successful, stylish women over fifty.

“We believe Jackie is an ideal match for Zestra.   She has a sense of personal and sexual confidence.   As an actress and healthy living fan, she has been a model to women, working women and working moms. She resonates with women over 40, Zestra’s primary demographic,” according to Braun Scherl.  “She has been a highly positive role model for women, making her for a great messenger for talking to women about their sexual satisfaction.”

Professionally trained as a dancer at NYU, this Englewood, NJ native was hired as a Playboy Bunny prior to her ascent into daytime television history.   In her new role as Zestra spokesperson, she is committed to help women break the silence about their sexual satisfaction.  “It’s true that nothing in life stays the same…it only gets better,’ she maintains.  “My objective is to help engage women to talk openly about their sexuality… and enjoy greater pleasure.   And thanks to Zestra, I can tell women with confidence that it will be better in the bedroom for them every time.”

Summer is upon us.  Embrace the sunshine, heat and humidity.  The sun is glimmering and the weather is pleasant and warm. The hot sun is shining, the ocean’s waves are crashing on the surf.  School is out and privacy is at an all time low.  Summer vacation has invaded the adult world as parents are  now the chauffeurs to soccer, cheerleading, golf, tennis and swimming.

With the beginning of the summer months, women have begun to reexamine their bodies and stress about how the winter months have often not been kind.  Crash diets and food restrictions, aggressive aerobic exercise is often on the menu as we all fear the changes that have occurred during the sedentary winter.  We all know that  we will soon need to put on swim suits and venture to the beach or community swimming pool.  Women will now take off the cozy (read here baggy) woollen sweaters of winter and dawn our form fitting swim suits, pack up the mini vans and head to the beach for a day of “relaxation and leisure”.

With the return to the warmth of summer, we all return to self-examination and look at ourselves both on the physical and spiritual levels.  Not only do we readdress weight issues, because of our inherent vanity and innate desire to look attractive in a bathing suit, but we also take the time to look  at  other areas of our life.

During the winter months, when we often did not skip that second piece of cheese cake, and we ate our second helpings of pasta (even if we were not hungry), the pounds somehow  layered onto our abdomens.  Not only did we gain weight, but our  relationships, friendships, marriage and sexual vitality may have also become bloated and stagnant. It is not uncommon for us to feel stale and uncomfortable, especially as the seasons change.  Those  cozy hot chocolate toddies sipped at  the warmth of the blazing fireplace can lead to sexual complacency and boredom.

As you begin your diet by eating well balanced and portion controlled porions, and exercising.  It is time to refresh your sexual dynamism. Revitalize your physical body, and your sensual body.

Dawn your daisy dukes (or your version of them), and think about enhancing sexual satisfaction and excitement.  Consider Zestra® Essential Arousal Oils™ as an important summer accessory for your beach bag.  Physical revitalization is hard to achieve if you are ignoring your wsexual vitality and satisfaction.  Sunscreen, beach towel and the latest diet book should be in your beach bag.  The zippered inner (secret) pocket of the bag will be room enough for the after beach excitement and revitalization – try Zestra ® today.

According to Wikipedia, Father’s Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood and the father/child bond.  It is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in many countries.  Father’s Day is a time to focus on the fathers, who have given so much, sacrificed for their children, showed them right from wrong and encouraged them to do their best no matter what.

Fatherhood teaches selflessness, respect for others and responsibility.  Strong fathers are also devoted not only to their children, but also to the women in their lives. They provide stability through turmoil and unhappiness.  Fathers are the backbone of relationships and care about family, love and commitment.

For this Father’s Day, whether you are married, dating, divorced or even a man without children, treat yourself and your special partner to some sexual excitement and satisfaction. Try Zestra ® Essential Arousal Oils™, a patented blend of essential oils that can be applied to the clitoral tissue to help orgasmic response. It has been shown in clinical studies to help improve her sexual satisfaction.  When she is more satisfied, so is her partner.  Zestra ® is a safe, hormone-free, non prescription solution, which is available on line.  Both men and women purchase Zestra ® to enhance and intensify their sexual intimate encounters.  Forget the tie, golf balls or dinner out.  Plan for the best Father’s Day ever.

Is your Orgasm Depressed?

According to the National Mental Health Association, approximately 12 million women in the Untied States experience clinical depression each year, and one in eight women can expect to develop clinical depression during their lifetime. Depression in women can take many forms.  Depressive symptoms can include feeling sad, down in the dumps, tired and stressed.  It can affect all aspects of your life, including loss of interest or pleasure in activities you used to enjoy. It is not uncommon to have appetite or weight changes coupled with difficulty concentrating.

Women are more likely to experience atypical depression – they eat more, sleep more and gain weight.  Women are about twice as likely as compared to men to suffer from depression.  Many factors are implicated in the origin of depression including biological, psychological and social factors.  Medical problems can contribute to depression, so its always critical to get a comprehensive history and medical examination. Some cultural or psychosocial problems that may lead to depression include poor self image/ esteem relationship dissatisfaction.

Luckily, there are a variety of treatment modalities that can safely and effectively treat depression, Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors have been come the first choice of antidepressant medications.  Many experience life-changing results and return to normal once they have consistently taken these medications.  According to the USA today report on Americans taking antidepressants- the amount of Americans using antidepressants doubled in the past – close to 50 million people

Not surprisingly, we see that depressed mood and sexual concerns and difficulties – including changes in sexual desire and lowered arousal – are often intertwined.  SSRIs can cause many types of sexual concerns, such as the inability to have an orgasm.  Lowered sexual interest is common for both men and women. The sexual side effects of SSRIs have been under estimated and most health care professionals are reluctant to discuss sexual side effects with their patients.

In my clinical experience it remains critical for these women to maintain their SSRI mediciations.  Depression is devastating.  Sexual side effects are often troublesome, but can be addressed in a variety of ways.  For instance, I recommend that if they take their medication in the morning, they enjoy morning sex play before their dose.  The amount of SSRI in their system maybe at its lowest level and may allow enough escape, so that they can enjoy orgasm.  Another excellent solution to heighten your sexual response and improve sexual satisfaction is with Zestra ®, a patented blend of botanical oils and extracts that has been clinically proven to be safe and effective.  Zestra can be applied topically to help with latency to orgasm and has been reported by many women on SSRI also report improved sexual orgasmic response.

If you think your  are suffering from depression, seek medical attention and get a proper medical and psychological assessment early.  Do not be afraid to get treatment and do not get scared of the possible sexual side effects.  There are sexual medicine specialists who can deal with all issues that are medication induced.  Help is close by.

Do not let your mind, body, soul or orgasm be depressed.

Salute to Mothers

0

Posted 4:20 pm, May 7th, 2011

by Rosann

May is the month of spring flowers and of course mothers.  With mother’s day upon us it is time to salute those who have taken care of us, fed and diapered us, made us soup when we were ill, cheered us during our soccer games, convinced us that we could finish our homework, or held our hands when we needed it. Mothers put themselves after their families, and care for us during our  illness, and cheer us on  during our accomplishments.  Mother’s deserve our special recognition not only during the month of May, but all year round!

It’s not surprising that childrearing and sexuality has been the subject of much clinical research.  A recent Swedish study published in the Journal of Sex Research, examined the impact of children on sexual frequency.  It is not a huge surprise that children inversely affect sexual frequency – the more children you have, the less sexual activity you and your partner are likely to experience.  Many site fatigue, lack of privacy, and time constraints as barriers to sensual intimacy with their partner.  The generation of DINS (Double  Income No Sex) is upon us.  We may have time for unlimited texting, 2 hours of daily aerobic exercise, pilates and late night business meetings but when it comes to sexual intimacy we do not have time and are often exhausted.  Many times in clinical practice, sexual medicine experts and sexual counselors encourage a lock on the master bedroom door, and planned date nights where adults can enjoy each other without children.  In clinical practice, we often see couples who complain about no sexual activity and when you examine their sleep habits you discover that their toddlers are still sleeping in their  master bed – a physical barrier to sensual and sexual intimacy!  We all need to recognize that private adult time is vital to help nurture the soul of our relationship.  Our children will grow up, leave the nest and we need to have vital sexually energized relationships as we age.

This Mother’s day, whether you’re a mother, grandmother, aunt or single, treat yourself to a day and night of leisure.  Give yourself a break from your children, your job and other commitments and enjoy!  Plan a day of leisure, relax and enjoy the quiet, enjoy the solitude and plan some renewed sensuality.  Take control of the day and plan a night of romance or novelty with your lover.  Novelty is the spice of life – try something new – whatever you are comfortable with – vibrators, toys or products.  Heighten your own sense of sexuality with Zestra®, a patented blend of herbs and a clinically tested essential arousal oils.

Put yourself as the top priority, today.  Taking care of yourself will help reenergize your spirit and will renew your passion and zest for life and motherhood.  Feel the rush of motherhood, feel the rush of womanhood, feel the rush of sensuality and sexuality.
